The James that had the switch backward is and was being a real problem child...lol.. so much so that he may spend his days living on a shelf. I hate to say it..
So he has the same issue as the D10 with a cracked gears in the gearbox. Bad thing is I did not have another one (worm drive type) to replace it. What I did was rigged one up with a regular gear on th shaft with the worm drive type gear. It worked and James goes and activates, but he is VERY loud. Also he is still a bit weak. This is one I spent several hours today on, and the a little bit this evening and finally got it to the point it is at now. If we ever come up with some spare gears it may be fixable to make it less loud. And if I can ever find out what makes these so slow that work help too.
Gordon was not too bad, needs a new gear ( axle gear ).
The Holiday Thomas is all good as well. 4 new battery terminals and a bit of a cleaning.
