Hey no problem and I understand totally where you're coming from, I prefer to have the boxes for no other reason than at least I know they are brand new and untouched if that makes sense.
It does seem you can buy them off Alibaba including the box, in fact half the problem with buying from there is that you need to buy them typically by the case and indeed multiple cases (i.e. minimum order 4 cases with 8 models in each case).
Having said that even then it is not a case of the cost of the items as they are really cheap buying this way as they are almost directly from the factory, the issue is do you need 4 x 8 (32) of the same model?!?
I suppose if you intend to sell them on, or you can get together with a bunch of friends to buy them in quantity its not so bad, but its getting over that hurdle
If you do decide to buy them I may be interested in buying the kits from you if you want to shift them...
Oh, one last thing I forgot to mention about these kits - as you see some of the bricks carry what looks like printing, in fact these are actually stickers you apply. But they are way better than the type of stickers that Lego use. Instead of just a paper sticker these are vinyl ones on a clear backing. So basically you peel the backing off the sheet, position the sticker on the brick(s), press firmly and then peel off the backing leaving the stickers in place. It makes them much more professional and looking more like printed bricks
If there is a downside to this its that you have to make sure you line them up correctly the first go, sometimes even without the firm press parts of the sticker may adhere to the brick so take your time and be careful is order of the day
