(LEGO) What did you build today?

Well, I can't speak for the majority but with our experience modeling is the ONLY way to get through to my oldest. I spent years and tons of money on toys to try to get some type of response from him. Honestly trains were the only thing that seemed to make him happy. He would spend hours laying on the floor watching them go around. Up until he was 4 there was zero pretending. Even social situations require practice and modeling the correct responses just for regular conversations.
