I'm sure it would be, could you get holders for these batteries? To wire it up you would need x4 white LEDs in series, how many LEDs would you want in your carriage? I've seen something on another forum that shows how to make light bars, I was thinking of doing something similar as it might make the install a little neater

I have seen how to make light bars using fiber optic tubes. They look like fluorescent light tubes in shop lights. Is that what you are referring to?

I have picked up a bunch of these self stick, pre-wired, LED strips that use something like 8 to 14 volts. (see pic) Thought the self stick would be an easy way to install. I am using 2 or 4 of the longer strips with my current restaurant custom. They work great with a 9volt battery but I was looking for something smaller but not the button cell. I was at my local Radio Shack today looking for 9volt battery holders when I saw what looked like doorbell battery holders which got me thinking when I got home. I am going to go back there tomorrow to get a better look.
