I never did understand why Plarail made that 1/4 turn rail part of the R-28 double switches with other than normal connectors on all sides. That way you could either use the short curve or not or use the short curve by itself in some other part of a layout. Why not have the normal ones on all ends? I don't get it. They did this on the red R-10 U-Turn rails too.
