I can only speak of the USA but if I were you I would get to your Post Office at the soonest you can before they ship it back. First go online to the Royal Mail Web site and type in that Japan tracking number. It should show up once the package is in the UK at least it does here. Then print that out and take it with you. If its like here, you have to be home and sign for the package and if no one is home to sign then they leave a small slip that says to pick it up at the Post Office. The UK may be the same but get there quickly before they send it back. For packages from Japan you might want to get in the habit of checking Royal Mail daily until that Japan number shows up. Then you should know when they may deliver or at least if they tried to deliver. They also may be holding it because there are customs fees due. Maybe, if they left a slip it was in with your other mail and got tossed with the junk. Its been there a long time so good luck. Anyone from the UK with experience in this?
