wht do you mean... by "special" battery terminal?
define "smaller" axel gear?
and with tht.. is tht problem solvable?

There appears to be in a few different types of Plarail/Tomy trains that have the same terminals but replacements are near impossible to find. Here is an image I sent to a supplier to try and source them from China. They have them, but not in stock.


The axel gear I believe is 4mm wide where most of the others are 5mm. I has been while since I have looked at the measurements but I believe those are accurate. I bought larger ines 5mm and made a jig from aluminum to get them down to the right size.

I too found one in the box; it was used but still in great condition. I paid quite a bit for it, but other than the TnA Henry with box and the TnA American accent James it is right up there with my favorites.
