Yeah I have had them disassembled all the way from changing a battery, to swapping battery terminals (including replacing the brass rivets), to swapping the motor, etc...
The battery terminals are in the attached Splatter. There are 2 AA under the shell and one AA in the bottom of Splatter. Taking this portion apart is not to difficult. When taking the shell off of D10 it can get a little tricky to try and get everything back in where it goes but is not as bad as James, Gordon, and Henry.
