I didn't buy the Costco pack since the wheels are really useless for me, and I would probably end up with 3 or 4 of the others, but I did compare Made In China Diesel and Made in Thailand Diesel.

Strangely, China Diesel have a better mouth mold, but the eyes are not looking straight, the quality wise, there isn't a major difference, and unless you guys have the sensitivity of one of those jewelry scales, I can't really tell the difference, neither can my kitchen scale. In fact the China one weighs slightly more as it goes between 17 to 18 grams but I took the picture when it read 17 or 0.6oz for Thailand vs 0.065oz for China. The paint does seem to have a different tint on the details, but I would not call it lower quality.

If I have time I'll do more comparisons.













PS: Spongebob engines were made in Thailand. I don't know if they are remaking them in China now.
