I would not call Ashima a lazy choice. She would either need to be toned down alot loosing her charm, or be stickered to death. A paint job like that is expensive and alot of engines go unsold as it is. Making 50 rehashes of Thomas may seam stupid, but its cheaper molding and a more recognizable character.
