I like the idea for the Spencer coaches a lot. They're a rich red color, and the pink stripe is not only a decent accent, but it's versatile, so for a girl's special themed train, or just for passenger trains in general, it's a good coach, though it seems strange that Spencer's coach, to me, with the way the windows are arranged, does look somewhat like a brake coach...? Someone tell me if I'm wrong here.
I wasn't sure if it would be worth saying, but I always thought that Spencer's coach looked good even with normal trains! Sometimes I'll hook it onto the back of Oliver's red coaches (although not always pulled by Oliver), and although they aren't the same size, I just think of it as a brake coach due to the difference in look. The red paint is almost the same, if not exactly the same color, and I've repainted the roof of my Spencer's coach so it more closely matches the normal red ones, unintentionally.
Also, I wouldn't be surprised if Spencer's coach is actually a brake coach. He does only have the one, after all. That gets me wondering if there's any hints towards the coach he has in the CGi series being a brake coach, too.
EDIT on July 7, 2016 at 8:12 pm: Turns out I'm completely wrong about there only being one coach. Spencer's coaches, before being redesigned in the CGi series, previously belonged to the NWR, and were seen in the TVS a few seasons before Spencer was introduced, and the Duke and Duchess of Boxford purchased the three of these coaches, and they are now pulled by Spencer. One is a dining coach, a normal passenger coach, and a brake coach.
