The couplings are similar enough to be interchangeable with Tomy rolling stock, hence the reason I took a shot of the couplings especially as I knew someone would ask.
I've had the lid off as I was interested, the lamps are easily removable, the arrangement is a Y shaped clear plastic piece, the twin end forms the lamps and the single end has an LED fitted into it, this is then wired into the motor unit.
The question of the wheel base is the one question on my mind as it is substantially longer than Tomy, when I get a chance I'll try it out on a circle or something and let you know
