It's one of the range of Tomica diecast motorised vehicles that takes the rather specialised LR1 / N size batteries. You can get some funny looks when you start asking in shops for these batteries.

"N" sized batteries are readily available by me. They even carry them in the big Pharmacy Chains. If you have a hard time locating them try looking for them in the wireless doorbell section of your home center.
