an AA will run a C-powered engine, but wont last as long and, if its not packed, it can move over bumps and fall out of position. I always thought AAA was more powerful than AA, and AA more than C, but that's the only reason ive used AA with engines that are supposed to use C. Also I hate to be a jerk to those people on Amazon, but most of them are parents. I thought parents were smart enough to read instructions on battery stuffs and safety. Instead of trying a C, they just assume the creators are stupid, and complain about needing to stuff a paper towel in the batteru compartment.
