try local ebay sellers and trade me you have to keep looking and eventually the right lot will pop up and hopefully it's described or titled incorrectly and you can nab it cheap Try searching for terms like job lot, thomas lot, toy train lot, etc

or try craig's list. Before you buy them make sure you test the engines. Some of the engines people sell don't work.
