Well, good news and bad news.
Bad news:
I received my mold making stuff. While the molds turned out pretty good, the resin I do not think is going to work. The material was just too soft. I will however be able to use the resin for other parts. I may still try the gear if I get a chance but probably not.
Good news
I should have done this to begin with as it was much less painful and easy to do. Basically I made a "jig" and sanded down the 5mm gear to be closer to 4mm. They seem to match up quite well with the existing 4mm gear I had. Now I need to press one on and make sure it works.
I made about 5 of them so far. If they work out out I will try and post a tutorial.
