Bumper Tomy Thomas Auction Win

WOW...that is a fantastic collection and an Oliver to boot. Are the buckets both the same with the C12 set? You have to trust someone that keeps the original boxes and places the items back in them.

To be honest Super I've not had time to unpack the box yet so I don't know if the buckets are the same or even if they include the engines/rolling stock. But based on the condition of the other trains and boxes I am highly hopeful they will be in there.

Apparently they were bought by a 'train mad grandfather' for his grandson to play with at his place, but were rarely used. To be honest I can believe this as they look in that sort of condition.

And finally yes, as you noticed there is a fully complete, boxed Oliver there as well, which is I think how Mr Ripley first found the auction. He is destined for a little trip in a Jeremy to join Mr Ripley's collection as I don't personally need him having a brand new unopened example in my 'future box' (what have you started) and another mint condition example available for 'play'

The buckets are a new one to me, not seen one before, but they do look interesting, can't wait to find time to unpack it all and check it out. But I suspect it may have to wait till the weekend as work is heavy at the moment
