Talk n Action Tomy Thomas Trains

I looked at these..they are listed as junk. Their problems are listed, and these two, along with James, seem to be the most consistently problematic of the various models...the Talk'n Action series is quite particular and finicky, and a properly and thoroughly functioning one is rare to find...unless you are up to the challenge of restoring them I don't recommend them.
However, the real value of the listing is the boxes themselves...they are rarer than the actual trains!!!

I am going to get this lot (hopefully I don't get out bidded) and restore these trains to working condition
