The Thomas and the jet engine episode was my sons favorite and this was the Thomas I made for him for the first piece we ever bought...

He's never flown off the tracks.. Idk why it runs so well, but it navigates the track as well any other train...the places where it got hung up in the video are flawed by my design and consistently cause problems even for most of our standard stock trains at regular speed...I will work to fix them soon...

I'd guess the additional weight of the sound system keeps him on the tracks then.

Is the reason you used a Talking Thomas because it has a battery truck?
