finally arrived... viaduct and eneos sets

well, after 15 days [yes, thats right!!] the two sets finally arrived.
very dissappointed with the "service" from the seller. yes, it was over a long weekend and school holidays, but somehow they had time to relist the one set i didnt bid on, but no time to flick me a quick email saying they are currently away. it took over a week just to get an email out of them.

the petrol station. i paid $20 for this. the plakid seems to have a bit of wear to the front, but not too major.


my cat tippy decided to help me take it to bits, before i had the photos needed. spoilt little brat that he is.






the viaduct set. i paid $30 for this


the engine. its a really pale grey, quite a nice color. the battery terminals needed to have corrosion removed before it would work.

I like the detail stickers of the elevated train station. I wish they would make just detail stickers that you could buy. I wish they would make a gray girder bridge also. They make just about every other color one. I think a dark gray bridge along with the light gray tracks and station would look good.

I dislike sellers that don't give the common courtesy of communication.

@Super yeah they do make quite a few colors I am surprised no Grey as well.

super, i like the stickers too. theres one that looks like a poster with a shinkansen and red bridge. i wouldnt mind a full size version to go on my wall, lol.
yes, the lack of emails was annoying, and i went so far as to emailing the site and letting them know in case i needed their help. on the upside, because the seller hadnt sent the payment details, i hadnt actually lost anything that first week. if my $80 had gone out, i would have been much more concerned.

the bridge is a sort of purpley-grey. also a nice color, but i do agree it should have been dark grey.
