How stupid does the TM2 version look with the front "splashers" miles away from the front wheels? What planet are these FP designers on?

Worked for me and wow, he made it through dead mans curve without a hitch, With the wheels being a bit larger (and faster as Chrisjo states) should give more clearance for that activation tab. Great job fellows. Wonder if some gray Shinkansen wheels would look good on the original green Thomas or maybe black from an old steamer. There is also wheels from like Henry, aren't they green though a different shade. I like the black wheel idea and paint the none moving middle wheel black as the paint won't wear off on that one.
It gives about 2mm extra clearance which is still not enough so that's why I used the chassis that had the activation tab that was already filed down. And yes made through dead mans curve! 8 Trucks and a brake van is enough to stall any engine through there Tongue
Whiff has the right color wheels Tongue

Are those Whiffs wheels or black ones or did you paint them. Much better than the original color or the blue ones.

Those are the same blue ones donated by Thomas that are in the first photo. I took them off again, sprayed them flat black, and then dry-brushed with a flat mid-grey enamel to bring out the detail a bit.
