The new tentpole special set has been listed on Amazon. I have no idea how other people found this since it doesn't come up when Googling it.

The Treasure Chase Set which, judging by the description, features a non-powered Skiff. I'm liking the sounds of the destinations included. I gather this will be the set we see at the New York Toy Fair this weekend.

A second new set has been revealed in the press release at New York Toy Fair, the Shipwreck Rails Set. It features a pirate ship, a suspending track piece, an incline, and a spiral track which makes Thomas turn upside down. Didn't I say last year that anti-gravity items would be next?

Oh my gosh, it is huge! I can't believe how it easily goes up those hills and falls downs like that, and how the track is all tethered with supports. It looks expensive. I wonder if any modifications have been made to the track like they said.

dont like it one bit. the concept is interesting, but thats where it should have stopped... at concept design.

can only say its a good thing they dont have tender powered engines... the wires would be destroyed on this. the drop is rather violent.

It would look better like a carnival ride in real size than a toy train set.

Well, whatever floats your boat I guess. It's good if you really don't want the cars. Now Timothy has his own individual non-Greatest Moment release, and I've noticed that this is the first time Diesel 10's been sold without cars.

On a previous note I was quite surprised to see the Whispering Woods return.

New item got revealed on the Latin American Thomas website. It translated to Assorted Cranes and Wagons, so it looks like this is a new series. I don't mind the look of it, it's nice to see something like this return.

my club had running night on thursday. i had another event the same night to go to first, so i grabbed the breakaway bridge set since the box would fit nicely in the topbox on the back of the motorbike. set it up once i got to the club, and was actually surprised; its a nifty little set. even one of the staunch guys announced it was kinda cute.

that crane and wagon set looks interesting. and yes, a surprise to see whispering woods back. but anything to make a buck i guess. sadly enough, i find myself continuing to collect this range. just cant seem to say no.
