Thanks, I hadn't heard of this new release as it looks to be only available at the Tokyo Disney Resort and for a pretty penny.

Except for some changed details and different train its pretty much the same as the 2016 Disney Dream Railway Mickey Mouse & Friends Adventure Mountain Set which was released to the general public whereas this new release is apparently only available at the Tokyo Disney Resort (I think). I do like that new (different) engine and the Tourist Passenger car/wagon. Always like something new and different. 😊 I might already have a probable answer to this but...I wonder if any PlaKids are included in the set?

A video of it in action.

What a cool set! I have lots of fond memories of riding Big Thunder (the California one of course, but I believe the Tokyo version is basically identical). I do wish they gave you more than one car though, with the price it's going for you'd have to take out a small loan to build a full train.

Thats the same thing I thought about the Dream Railway release in 2016. I can only surmise that because the mountain has such a small radius that anything longer may not roll properly although I never thought of trying that out on my set.
