Have you purchased a "Doctor Yellow" Plarail?

Japan's popular inspection train, Doctor Yellow, will be going bye bye.  JR Central will end operations of the Doctor Yellow in January 2025 and JR West plans to end operations after 2027.

With these last few month left (for JR Central), many are hoping to get a picture of/with Doctor Yellow (kind of hard when there is no schedule and only two trains are in operation), many are flocking to Plarail and N-Guage trains.

For Yodobashi Camera, dominating their charts for the last few months and back again at #1 (September 7, 2024) is Plarail S-07 923-type Doctor Yellow T4 Train.  Second would be the Tekoro 923 Doctor Yellow Plarail (charge by rolling it manually, no batteries) [currently at No. 23].

We will see if Takara Tomy will do an "arigato" set for Doctor Yellow.

I have plans to buy a Plarail EVA in Christmas time but knowing Doctor Yellow will be discontinued this is a difficult choice to me !!

My desires are... Have lots of Plarail tracks, engines and rolling of different kinds (Thomas, Shinkalion, Eva, Minions, whatever...) . I should look on lots and be lucky to found a Doctor Yellow on one of these!

Well, aside the normal one (which is not a full box but rather combined here and there), I have this...thing. 
Let's just say it takes a lot of effort to make it work in current year.

It is a nice model but what I remember from an experience of a former member is that it was hard to operate the cameras mostly because the app and everything was in Japanese.
