I'm so used to riding Japanese trains, I wanted to try an American train

I have been riding Japanese trains for so long, I wanted to experience riding an American train (California).  It's a bit interesting, much different.  But it's good to see many people riding on the trains but not sure if I'll be alive by the time the high speed railway in California is completed.

Here in the States we didn't evolve into trains for our major mode of transportation like Europe and Asian did so I can understand how much different it must be for you. Thanks for sharing. 😃
