Yes mate, indeed they are - if you see the car without the body on the moulded interior has side-facing seats on the side with the viewing windows, normal seats/windows on the other side. Attention to detail indeed

I just received a parcel I've been waiting on from the good ole' USA containing a couple of nice items
First up is a series 381 "Panorama Shinano" one of the Japanese expresses, I managed to get both the main set and the add-on 3 car pack at very good prices. This features usual working lights, destination board and has some interesting cars including a nice viewing car at the rear and some realistic metal pantographs which can be extended upwards if desired; Next one is a rather nice, but standard EF58 loco; and finally we have an EMD SDP40F locomotive in the rather striking Maersk shipping company livery, this is to compliment the 'stacking' container car set I got a month or more back which is also in the same livery (you can find pics of that set if you scroll back through this thread!);

I am just amazed at how much interior details can be viewed through the windows.
You know I am loving that EMD engine. The Maersk color scheme is awesomely different.
I totally agree about the Maersk shipping company colour scheme, I first came across it in the form of Lego when they made a Lego train and a cargo container ship. Liked it ever since, but these Kato models are the first train models I've come across. I'm not sure if that is a licensing issue or just nobody else has bothered although I would be surprised if its the latter...

Just a couple of small things today, a rather nice pair of Kato EF81 loco's including the special Casiopeia EF81 in the distinctive Yellow/White/Orange/Blue livery. As I have the Casiopeia set coming this will make a lovely train I suspect - lots of special passenger cars in that set Super

Boy...you sure have been busy on the intra-note machine lately Mr Nigels 😎👍
Truth of the matter is there is a UK seller who is 'disposing' of his collection of Kato rolling stock as due to age and failing eyesight (his words not mine) he is moving out of N Gauge. Sort of thing I can identify with a little as I need glasses these days for small things and small text, but I'm not so bad I can't manage with these yet lol!
But the point is I've been getting some really good deals and a lot of the stuff I've been getting I had been looking at buying new anyway when funds permit, but getting effectively new stuff for about half the retail price I can't resist getting them sooner than later

Well it arrived this morning, the Cassiopeia train, 10 cars + dedicated loco (so I have several EF81 options to run it now!!). Also in the same package another 'Super Azusa' express, this time the full 12 car version in the latest livery, a rather fetching lilac
