Rarest Plarail/Tomy Trains

What Jdogman has said is extremely out of date, there are much rarer things now than what was listed 6 years ago

Amazing how far all of this has come in just 6 years.

How would the Gold Thomas compare to some of the rarest items as listed by Vio and Zwilling? I’m guessing they would be rarer?

Perhaps they are, there's certainly rarer items, as far as we know, Muddy's rc celebration thomas is the only one of its kind, I'd say that's definitely rarer, as for what Vio and Zwilling posted, I would guess so but I can't be sure

Ah, I see. It hasn’t been confirmed how many Gold Thomases were made but it is thought to be 50 (or perhaps even 10, though unlikely). Wow, only one known copy of the [電動プラレール電車セットNO.1, Electric Plarail Electric Train Set NO.1], and even that doesn’t have the original vehicle

How about lottery releases like the 金ぴか QUANTO (golden QUANTO) and めばえ (Mebae)? How many surviving copies are there of each? And thank you for giving the names in both languages, it is very helpful!

Thanks. I was able to find one QUANTO in box for sale right now but no Mebae of any type. I agree that many were probably treated as regular junk toys.
