Train storage

So just wanna know, where do you store your trains? In it's original box, in a new box, or just stack them?
A history of how i store my trains:

2014-ish: I would store them in their original box, with the foam too. i found this tireding but i cant think of anything else back then. The track i dunno where i store it... i forgot.
2015: I store my tracks in a bucket. Yes.. a bucket. Out of all the places i can store it, a bucket in my room does the job. Also, my trains i still store them in their original boxes but the boxes are starting to decay bcs with sunlight and falling.
2016-ish: I just mix the trains and the tracks toghether. Probably the worst thing to do and the trains ahave scratches now. like alot-alot.
I have many tomy ytrains, more than trackmaster trains. I only have trackmaster cars. That's why i posted this in the tomy forum.

Now: I stack my tracks neatly, so it doesn't scratch. I put my trains not in it's original box, but in  anew plastick box: https://postimg.cc/zyKDNwVN
The transparent box is where the trains are, and the big box is where the tracks are.

Is there another way of me uploading an image to the post rather than typing the url? Like aking the picture out of the computer's files? i ever done it before, (in my first post), but it seems that i have forgotten. Maybe that's why you cant see it?

Just yours and mine, Super.

Perky, two simple methods of posting images are provided directly.

a) select the image icon in the menu bar at the top of the post you are writing, and when prompted copy/type in the url of the image.

b) select the 'Add image to post' option immediately below the post you are writing, then either paste the copied image, or browse, or copy/type in the url of the image in the postimage Chose Images popup.

You can also use some other 3rd-party image hosting site if you wish.
Thank you for the help Dr Chris

For me, it depends on how rare the train is.  if the set is extremely rare (i.e.. 75th anniversary set), I would keep it in its original box.

I go to dollar store to get the plastic bins to store the rest of my train collections.
