I think it should be mentioned that this mud is very high quality! : D I don't know how they did it, but it's not just the paint, it's the thicker layer: you can feel the mud and number 1 under your fingers when you touch the body of the engine.
It's Tiziano (type) Verduzzo (colour) 50x65, 160g paper from Fabriano, Italy. These are printed (not too thick) papers, placed on vertical boards. I went to buy the usual coloured papers that I already have on a large Plarail layout, where the sky would be plain blue. But then I spotted these papers with printed skies and clouds, and I liked them. So I bought the clouds! They are not perfect; the image does not continue most accurately when multiple papers are joined together, and they also have little glare (but not too much). I think they are, despite that, good enough for this little layout.
