I would be interested in seeing what you come up with in your Custom Wood project when you are finished.

I might just get the James model and replace the wheels with shapeways ones.

I'm worried about the wheels in how they'd go around curves. Big bogies with extra thick wheels doesn't sound like good news for short curves. I'm fine with their appearance.
Also, after some research I've decided to change from a NSWGR C30 class to a South Maitland Railways 10 class
