Is this just a re-make of a Revolution set but with the cartoon Thomas or am I thinking of a different set?

Here’s an interesting interview with Rick Suvalle, the head writer of AEG Season 1: https://thomas-and-friends-all-engines-g..._Interview

That was an interesting read, thanks T-Raw. Sounds like his directions was to create something way different from the original series and thats what he went with.
Interesting indeed. I would like to emphasize a very important part:
"(...) Because it was sold to Cartoon Network before we had the name, sometimes they mistakenly refer to the show as “Season 25.” But All Engines Go was always meant to be its own thing. As for any plans for the original show to be continued, not that I’m aware of. But that doesn’t mean it won’t happen, as these really are separate shows."

All Engines Go still hasn't got a Polish dub (something I'm very happy about), at least not to my knowledge. On Polish TV they still show the BWBA seasons (22-24)

Rebooted baby Diesel:
Although AEG is a baby show, Diesel could look a little “naughtier,” as shown in the show and in the picture on the box. The face on the box looks better than the face of the engine itself... But, all in all, Diesel does look good, as all AEG motorized engines generally actually do (as toys). According to the pictures, they are nicely made and full of details. For example, Thomas' whistle is a separate little piece of yellow plastic screwed underneath the shell. As far as I can see, no stickers are used on these toys, everything is painted. Also, the AEG toys are much better than the AEG TV-Show. Think of it: in the show, the characters (trains) use their wheels as hands (??) and do other crazy things; toys can't do that, and that's good!

apparently its being sold on stores now https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iM8MbipfDs4
The race for the sodor cup is literally a ripoff of a mediocre film: the great race. Why are they overusing the "race" idea
