the silver thomas only like 200 units were made

It’s still being debated upon, but below are the ones we are (mostly) certain about:
1. Gold Thomas (?? made)
2. Silver Thomas (100 made)
3. 60th Anniversary Campaign Thomas (120 made)
4. Alfie (around 300 made)
5. Blushing Thomas (360 made)

There are others such as Monty, Buster with the black wheel rim, red Bulgy with the service window, the virtually impossible to find promotional Lion of Sodor, etc. Then of course there’s canceled stuff like the Snowy Freddie or Spooky Stanley (although they technically don’t qualify).

There are also certain items that are very difficult to find NIB (like your American TNA James).

For rarest with their packaging, what about the American TNA engines?

@TrA I would say they are the hardest to find with packaging, the most common to find with it is the Japanese tna engines, the British packaging is rare but not impossible to get, but the american ones are rarely ever seen

Got Monty, that's the only one. I've recently not been purchasing a lot of stuff as they either to for crazy prices or couldn't catch em in time.
