Product Numbering & Bar Code Verification of Phantom Plarail Sets

I added columns for 1970 to 1973.

The start month of each numbering seems to be from October instead of November. So, the end month will be September, which is one month off from October.
However, the end month of G-24 is February 1976, and after G-25, it starts in March and ends in February.

I made a provisional database for single item products. Blackened spaces are confirmed, but the catalogue years are incomplete. Someone else in my team will combine the data together.

I finally updated my blog in reference to the newly created sheets, explains the general flow of manufacture numbers:

I have created the 製造付番 sheet, with the help of Mr. Nayuho:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1...sp=sharing

This sheet stores all manufacturing numbers that are discussed here, in auctions, in personal collections, and from other people who sends me a DM.

We still do not know what the actual meaning of the alphabet in all numbering sequences. Hence, I will announce a research quest here.
In short, your task is to find any CONCRETE information that DIRECTLY leads to the meaning of the alphabets, and you will be rewarded with a position in our research team.

Wow, this is Vio's past research? Did you and Nayuho do this all by yourselves?

I had no idea how far and long this journey has become as I wasn't a team member back then. These are all the root thoughts Vio?

Yes Zwilling, there were many things back then that I didn't know of. I was a normal Plarailer like anyone here until I started to commit myself to endless research. Nayuho and I are still good partners today. At first we started figuring out the TOMY fiscal numbers starting with the G-nn numbers, then made our way up to MS-nn and so on. However we felt that the data was not sufficient so I was stuck in the recording products stage for a very long time.

Not long ago, this happened: https://twitter.com/Vio_Pla70s/status/13...1940784130
I figured out the relationship between the ST mark and the TOMY fiscal numbers. I was the only one who figured out how to use the ST mark and related it to the Japanese calendar. This is my biggest contribution I can give to the team for this case.

And after sometime, you were looking for a team and I asked you to study the ST numbers and TOMY fiscal numbers because you wanted to be a backend researcher. It was a very good time that you joined our team because all this are fresh and new knowledge and the database is getting bigger bit by bit. Then I wrote the concluding blog article to summarise my findings: https://vio-plarail.hatenablog.com/entry.../26/233546

This is now where we are:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1...2035973384

We have finally related the ST mark and the fiscal numbers to provide back-to-back useful information. Now we have 2 different sheet colours, blue for fiscal numbers and pink for ST mark numbers. I learnt a lot from this project and I am looking forward to your contributions in the future.

I respect everything you and Nayuho did to make this project a big success! You even formulated a direct answer to decode the ST mark, all by yourself. I am so glad that I am learning from top class backend researchers like you and Nayuho, and applying these skills in what I do now. I will read everything from top to bottom in this thread and taste what its like to plan and execute such a huge project that lasted for nearly 1 and a half years.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart! It is an honour to continue the research for the good of the people and history of Plarail.
Our rail analyst in the team surprisingly found the 1970 Tomica website and this was the root foundation of how the numbers in the placeholder of G-nn relates to the fiscal years. Without that website, our efforts in the past would have been futile. It is a project that will really never end until every single number of every single product manufactured in 1970-1987 are all recorded. See the database completion year in 20 years time! Hahaha.
