Not what I meant at all.

I present, layout 1.5!!!

Why does it look entirely different from my first one? Why does it look more simplistic and less dynamic?

...Because I'm bad at building layouts Confused

(Also I have an Icy Rails Adventure Set on the way and I'm gonna try and slot that into the middle.)

I like how you have extended a connected loop over onto the Dresser WF.

Hey, a simple layout isn’t “bad”. Sometimes, you just want to throw down a loop of track and run some trains!

In fact, many of my layouts are fairly simple straight runs with return loops at either end. They’re large enough to run the length of the house but not very complicated.

Off The Rails is right! Simple layouts can bring smile on your face too. For example, when I finally got this Keihan 700 set I was so excited I immediately assembled it on the terrace and enjoy it for quite some time before I put the train on my big indoors layout! Smile

I don't think there is such thing as "bad" layout when it comes to Plarail. If you like it, it's great! Smile

Oooh, That looks really cool!! Sorry, my Plarail experience is mostly limited to Thomas and Friends but that genuinely looks sweet!

Today's my birthday, and to celebrate I built another layout! I call it: Layout 1.75. I packed the absolute MOST amount of stuff I could pack in my space.

A lot of pieces are courtesy of DuckGWR! He's such a cool guy!!

Why not 2.0 instead of 1.75? Because I'm having a lot of trouble with the lumber-yard set. One of the turntables isn't resetting and Terence himself needs a rebuild (his motor works but he's very slow and weak and is getting stuck on corners.) so I may replace the Lumber Yard with Elsbridge or the Quarry. I'm going to make another post asking for help on that.
