FATHER EYEBALL TRAIN
MEDAMA KITARO KIHA SERIES 40 - FATHER EYEBALL TRAIN
Father Eyeball starts at Kamakura Main Station, transfers a group of tourists to Hase Station and then to Satelitte. After that, at Enoshima Station he takes a car transport wagon and via Fujisawa Central Station takes it to Satellite, where he disembarks the carriage, leaves it, returns to Kamakura, picks up a long freight train there and hauls that train to Fujisawa Sunny Street Station.
Where does the unusual name of this train come from?
Medama-Oyaji (目玉おやじ or 目玉親父, Lit. "Eyeball Father"), or Medama-no-Oyaji (目玉のおやじ), is a major character in the GeGeGe no Kitarō franchise and Kitarō's father. Once a fully-formed adult ghost, he perished of a disease, only to be reborn out of his decayed body as an anthropomorphic version of his own eyeball. His primary role in the series is to support Kitarō with his knowledge of all things.
Kitarō (鬼太郎, Kitarō), also known as GeGeGe no Kitarō (ゲゲゲの鬼太郎), is a yōkai boy born in a cemetery after the death of his parents. Aside from his mostly-decayed father, Medama-Oyaji, he is the last surviving member of the Ghost Tribe. He fights for peace between humans and yōkai, which generally involves protecting the former from the wiles of the latter. Source: GeGeGe no WiKitarō Fandom)

The JR Sakai Line is a small, single track branch line in Tottori Prefecture only 18 kilometers long. It starts at Yonago Station on the Sanin Line and ends at the port town of Sakaiminato, with another 14 stations in between including one for Yonago Airport. The Sakai Line is now one of Japan's growing number of popular character train lines.

Yes, except the front windows, everything else is a sticker. But it looks really neat; it's a wrapping train!
It runs nice and smoothly, very still one-speed-engine. It's awesome.
I think I'll add some more Kitaro/Medama trains to my layout in the near future!
