Ah...now I recognize it. For a minute I thought it may have been a custom made from spare parts.

I just got the Plarail 60th Anniversary steam train in the mail on monday. I got it before you Muddy. It was only $56.99 and free shipping without Taxes.
Making Customs, Filming Videos and looking for the purest engines. That's how I roll here on Blue Plastic Tracks.

Thanks Muddy, these are the reasons my Grandson and I got rid of all tender or all none engine driven trains no matter who made them or whether they were Tomas & Friends characters or normal models of real trains. Our trains were always derailing especially at the top of slopes and at switch points. We were tired of chasing down derailed engines all around our spread out earliest of Layouts. I did find that adding weight to the engines did help to alleviate some of the derailments it wasn't enough to overcome our distaste for them and their odd tracking.
The Vicarage Orchard ~ Request Runs (Tender driven mayhem)
It seems a bit harsh to be blaming the engines for most of that mayhem. I'd be pointing a finger at the Vicarage Orchard's traffic management procedures!
Interesting having Molly and Emily each powered by double-header tenders, I've not attemped that.
I was commenting on our own experiences with the "Push" engines and not Muddys Layout. Our first generation Layouts were huge and on the floor. For the most part only only flat with some one level ups. I think the biggest problem occurs because the engine kind of moves sideways when being 'pushed' along. I can't remember for sure but because of the design of the drive gears (even on engine driven trains) which is off center on the axle, which way a Tender driven drive pushes the engine (opposite of the tenders direction) and a engine driven tendency. Does any on this make sense?
Of course Super, I entirely agree with what you say about the tender-powered arrangement.
But I still think that running 6 trains on the same section of track with some of them ending up running in opposite directions to each other might cause some raised eyebrows among the members of the Accident Investigation Board !!!!!!!!!!
I am just happy that my wife comes out to help and assist me...I explained to her that it was going to be a disaster, (I also despise tender drives) and to just try to keep them running, but I neglected to be more specific about their direction on the track I guess? Lol

Great video as always. Thanks. By the way Muddy, you have a number of patches of grass and other ground cover. Do you make that out of craft foam?
Thank you Bob....yes! Michael’s has many different colors and shades of craft foam sheets that I use to cut out various shapes of grass and dirt patches, cement slabs, water ways, etc.
