Would your printer print something this long or would it have to be split to two?

In case Nigels doesn't know...this Tomy Monorail track is 17.5".
So Drew, are you moving from Mini's to motorized Plarail? (10-21-2019, 06:58 AM)drew5195 Wrote: Would your printer print something this long or would it have to be split to two? It is feasible using my CR10s (as opposed to my workhorse Ender 3), but it would require printing them at a diagonal angle with supports, the pictures below are the model loaded and quickly sliced on Cura for the CR10s. This would need some tweaking as I'm not convinced looking at the picture previewing the supports (last pic) that they would be sufficient. But that is part of the modelling process prior to printing.

The latest print off my Ender 3 using a 'purple glitter PLA', not train related, but I think it looks awesome

No I printed the crystal separately The best part is the model is designed so that there is a hole in her right hand which leads to the hollow arm and down the body to the bottom, so you can wire an LED in to illuminate the crystal Mind you it would be possible to print in two colours using a CR-X
