Weathering was completed with model spray paint and airbrush.

Ive got to try airbrushing one of these days. It looks to be perfect for weathering applications.

Today I finished up with the graffiti decal-ing on our newest 3 brown box cars to bring the total to six we now have all graffitteed up.

Our first 3 boxcars came from the Auctions at Yahoo Japan, the last 3 came courtesy of PlarailMike. We really like these as they are exactly like the ones we see so much of here in the States.

Hobby Search is sold out of them but does have a waiting list so they may be expecting more.

The boxcars cost $3.71 U.S., which is about 2.26 British Sterling.

Yep...Hank is right on! I should also mention that these boxcars also have an option where you can remove the box and place a car or cargo inside or just use it as a flat bed. I must admit that I don't see why one would haul something, covered, inside the box when you can't even see it.

There is actually a train pack that includes a High-Power motor blue DD51 diesel, a Pla-Kids steam coach, and four of these boxcars with transparent sides.
