TrainMan2001's HO/OO Trains

I had the opportunity to travel to the NMRA Train Show. It was so cool. There were so many vendors and so many layouts. I also got to see the new Narrow Gauge coaches at the Bachmann stand.

Someone also made a large model of the delorean from Back to the Future III, which I thought was pretty cool.

I really like those wooden carriages.

I was able to clean up the storage room and I now have my trains on the ping pong table again. I was also able to clean up Skarloey and Rheneas, and it's been really nice to be able to run them again. I also put a weight and a load of hay bales into the open wagon, so now it runs better as well.

Rheneas looks awesome I must say and those hay bales are so very realistic.

Over the past few days I have tried doing small modifications to a couple of my narrow gauge products to make them different from other people's collections. I painted the ring around Skarloey's funnel gold like how it was in Season 4, and I weathered the unnumbered slate wagon in the style they were weathered in the same season. I was also able to buy Rusty and pre-order two blue carriages and one red carriage.

You are really getting good at this T-Man. I like your ideas.
For my birthday a little while ago, I got this:

It's a Baldwin 2-8-0 Consolidation by Bachmann. What's cool about it is that it used to be part of their Spectrum (highly detailed) line, so it has a lot of separately fitted details. The only downside to that is that it's a little nerve wracking to hold.

I love that Steamer T-Man. Love the details and how its not all shiny. Great Birthday present, was new in box or is this something that is vintage.
It was new in box, the tooling used has just been around for a long time.

That’s very cool! I love those Bachmann Spectrum engines and one of these days, I’m going to track down a Baldwin 10 wheeler.

It’s hard to think of the Spectrum line as vintage but I was flipping through a 1989 issue of Model Railroader and there was a full page ad for the then new HO Spectrum GE 44 ton switcher!
