Plarail TOMY Thomas NEW RELEASES

Wow....in my mind I was picturing a brown and cream coach but in my head it was just a brown and cream Express coach like Gordons, what a coincidence. I must be Clara-Voyeur. I am hoping it be an entirely new looking coach like you picture with those vents on the roof. maybe something on the lines of this with a different roof...

It looks like that steam engine couldn't hols a drive unit so I assume the bulky boxcar to the rear of the engine would house any drive unit although I am just guessing here.

i have the same train as part of the 40th anniversary set. the battery unit is in the black boxcar in my set, so effectively its tender powered. actually, comparing photos, both sets look identical, though of course there may be differences internally.
my website address has changed: https://sunscollections.weebly.com/
I'm going to try to get my hands on this set shown here

I might plan on using the boxcar for my videos. Maybe we should scan it and make the scanned models into different pieces of rolling stock like Salt Vans and Coaches.

I'll get the older 40th Anniversary verison on the Japan Auctions as well. I'm looking for both models.

Dear Super-san

This Plarail is not same design 40 Anniversary.

40 Anniversary Plarail is Buttery Box second Train and Switch with First Train.

However, 60 Anniversary Plarail is Buttery Box and Switch in second Train,
First Train is No Switch, There is a connector at the top.

Oh! I think this photo design by "SL ASO BOY" Plarail.
However, it will be with a coach of the " SL Yamaguchi Go".
New release catalog is searching, after upload. I do.

So is what you are saying is that this ASO-Boy will not be for sale but part of a raffle drawing like the silver Thomas was?
Which one was the raffle one?
