Nigel's 3D Printed Daisy

Spot on Super, ironically the build lines on the vertically printed ones are more prominent on the primed ones than on the naked ones. Although when you see them with the naked eye you have to look closely to see any lines as the photo is obviously a close up Smile

I was going to add this to my other more generic 3D thread, but that seems to have gone missing for some reason?!?

Anyway, here's the (current) final version of Daisy, the only probable changes now will be cosmetic, but here we are.  This version will fit either a BOCO or Diesel 10 chassis and is a nice (if snug) fit Smile

No problem mate, I'm sure you'll find it lurking somewhere Smile

very nice. Hopefully it will be available for people to purchase.
I hopefully we'll be able to purchase her somewhere. I'm planning to use a Spare TS-09 Diesel 10 for her chassis. For the TV series, what grey should I use for her face?

I can make it available to buy either through one of the printing agencies - although I can't say how much they would charge, I'll have to look into it.

Or alternately if you are happy with one printed on my printer I'm sure we can come to a very reasonable price, plus shipping of course - PM me if you want to get it this way Smile

shapeway costs an arm and a leg to get something printed.

Will you be using grey filament instead of green? Also how do you put the face into the body?
I know, that's why I said I would be prepared to print them myself for people at a reasonable cost, as for colour that can be negotiable, I can get most colours Smile

Latest print of the Daisy shell, this time in white and on the new CR10-S Pro printer;

In case you're wondering the apparent vertical line type artefacts are not print errors, the surface is in face silky smooth. It is in fact caused by this filament being semi-transparant and the 'infill' between the walls showing through Smile
