This HO scale Rivarossi engine came on my birthday last Saturday!

I had a similar one a few years ago, that was an AT&SF engine, that I sent off (along with a few others) to a repair shop to be rebuilt, but then he got into some issues (long story) and has all but stepped off the face of the Earth, and the engine has yet to be returned, so for now, I got this engine!  When or if I get the other engine back(which, I know at this point, there's little hope), I might sell this one, maybe...

But that's not all!

Also on Saturday, a local (relatively speaking) train store had a sale, and I got these 25% off!

At the top, is a Mantua 4-6-0, in case you can't see...

Happy Birthday Jay, nice to see someone else buying HO (or O) gauge trains and rolling stock. I got hold of a couple of Mantua's the other day I have to say I loved the construction quality and detail on those. I have a similar model to the Rivarossi you got as well, but mine was branded 'Airfix' (yes the model maker), but manufactured by Bachmann.

Do either of those loco's have any special features, you know lights, smoke, etc..?
Happily collecting things all my life... Big Grin
