Filming in stores is somewhat frowned upon, so most channels simply show their pickups at home. This channel in particular is one of my favorites:

I’m always impressed with what he finds but I don’t know his name. Not being able to speak or write Japanese makes searching for him a little tough. Fortunately, his channel comes up pretty readily when searching for Plarail.

On to ND113’s haul.... That blue D51 Time Station Set immediately caught my attention. I’ve always thought it was cool although I have absolutely no need for it. I blame it on my love of D51s and Mikado type locomotives in general.

Romanized it would be Matsuoka Junsei, though sometimes he goes by the clever wordplay Matsuoka Sensei. Quite a deserving title IMO given his knowledge, repair/mod skills, and the quality of the exhibits he sets up.

Since I've hijacked the thread anyway I might as well apologize with some haul pictures from 2016 that I never got around to posting, these are from HobbyOff, with the Sodor tankers being from Plataku: https://imgur.com/a/lxc1orE

Bonus (albeit it bad) photos of the Daiso Petite section at the Takeshita Street location: https://imgur.com/a/Ux67uzn

Hahaha...something to think about.  In the meantime, if you have travel plans to Japan, I can map out a resale shop itinerary  Big Grin
