The Mother of All Locos? (CENTENNIAL DD40X Diesel)

I scored this the other day as a very good price, its missing some detail parts (mainly handrails), but I hope to obtain those maybe from Bachmann themselves.

Have to say this is the largest HO scale loco I've ever seen, it measures around 13" in length and has two 8 wheel bogies. Working lights in both directions and a flashing yellow light on the roof of the cab Smile

You're dead right, I found that out after I posted this Smile

That's what you get when you get an unboxed loco with no instructions and rely on the good old internet to identify the model number based on sketchy info lol!!

It sure is a massive machine. Very odd with that gap in the middle too. It's almost as if they've taken two smaller locos and welded them together. I wonder what the cc's are on the engines on that beast Smile
