2012 and sold for around 6300 yen when released.
thanks.
is that the manufacture year or the release year?
Release. Some might say it was a 2013 release but what I saw was the end of Nov 2012
makes sense. probably 2013 is when it hit the international market.
i, apologize if my questions seem mundane. however, i assure you, they are important. i have 1 on the way. i will take it apart and check it out. thank you again, very much.
My pleasure, its a cute set. Not sure if this was a big seller so for those who aren't familiar, here is a video of it in action along with another set for Tomica cars. This is the first time I have seen these two sets working together for continuous action...pretty cool.
if you want to buy this set now, you are looking at at least $300 US
no way, its very common to find it around 130.00 usd with shipping.

i assure you i didn't pay that for the 1 have comming yes super, i'm looking into the other set as well. the super building set. there are 3 versions over the years what really caught my eye when it came to my research of this line of toys was this: coupled with this which means one could make a pretty neat layout with several of those conveyor belt pieces my ultimate goal is to see if any of the thomas vehicles will fit. bertie the bus is pretty slender and has a chance. but the other non-motorized vehicles have even a better shot at compatibility. once i gather all of them i'll see.
That would be a cool Layout Trevor. I know I have seen some large Layout videos using only these types of mechanical machines which rose to very high levels.
yes, i found all of the pieces. just working on prices.
however, if anyone finds/knows of any adapters that would connect from the tomica road sets to either the common train tracks -blue/hit/ or even rev- let me know. and/or, in addition, any adapters that would connect to motor road & rail (road) pieces as well. even if it means several types of adapters that would make a connection. furthermore, if anyone knows if these girders- of the tomica line - are compatible with the common yellow girders of plarail- that could be useful. |
