Multimeter - Finally!

Multimeter...and this one I am keeping!

I have bought several Multimeters in the past and always returned them because I didn't understand how to use them. I wanted to know the Voltage and where it was when in the off position with a recent custom so I thought I would once again, get one a try. I picked this one up at Lowes for 2 reasons, well, 3 reasons.

One of course is the nice looking Multimeter with good reviews

Two, the Receptacle Tester which I have always wanted to test the household wiring.

Three, The Voltage Detector Pen, something else I have always wanted when doing electrical repairs around the house

So with the 2 Bonus items I was sold on giving this one a try and.......I figured out how to check and display DC Voltage and also AC Voltage I am thrilled. Of course this Multimeter does so much more but I will study how to do those when the need arises, for now I got what I needed plus 2 more always wanted items. I even found a Camera Case I hadn't used in years to keep the whole set in. Hurray for me!

Nice purchase Super. I am still on a few cheap ones (from Harbor Freight) just haven’t took the leap to get a good one. I am with you though, it took me forever to figure out the right settings. I came in handy though when checking the transistors for my TnA repairs.

Those electrical test pens are very cool too. I had one but it must have been left on or something else because it does and despite new batteries it never was recoverable.
