As for the language, I suspect it would probably minionise (their own language) after all then it is international without change.

not sure where AC's image came from, but someone posted one the same and a different one in the plarail indonesia group on facebook. still dont have any furthur info, even after translating their comments. is it possible japan hasnt had it yet?

Supposedly mine shipped out on the 4th from Hong Kong but even though the Hongkong Post has it in their system, as of yet it doesn't look like they have actually received the package yet. I wasn't in any hurry on this so I opted for the free economy shipping so I don't expect it for a couple weeks.

Mine arrived today also, the sound is in Minion English. I always thought that the Dream Railway was for Disney but the Minions are Universal (Studios) branded. I love this and the engine is bigger than the Disney Dream Railway ones.

The constant sound will drive you Bananas...... LoL

hi again, curious where you guys got these? the best price I have seen is on ebay for about $36. Granted, I am not familiar with any of the Japan auctions.

Thats actually a good price and representative of the release price. If you trust that Seller then grab it. I got mine when it was released back in Oct/Nov of 2017 from Frederick Wong on Ebay, also out of Hong Kong, and it still is the same price I paid.
