What did you do to your trains today?

@ Pop

Those black trucks look pretty cool and somewhat spooky which is appropriate for this time of year. I wonder if under a black light the blue would glow in a dark room?

As I write this, I’m taking a break from a track building project which runs from a fairly large loop in my living room to a smaller loop in my den. The living room loop has a four track yard and a passenger siding which will eventually have a station. It’s about 60% gray TM2 track and 40% tan TM1.

The loop in the den features a single siding and a wye with turnouts/ switch points. I might eventually expand it but right now, there’s a fairly long journey through the dining room and kitchen to negotiate.

Photos may be posted if it lasts long enough!

EDIT: The western end of the layout. Yes my living room is a freakin’ mess!

Today, I made a small layout with my hit toy company track. I have a little section based on Percy's Promise. Wink

Haha I like that analogy. This is only temporary, however, as I will eventually replace that wheel, and the blue one can be returned to its rightful owner. I'm thinking of various mods to do to her, involving working headlamps and a faceless version.

I re-applied some Silver Sharpie to Sir Handel's wheels, i'd say they look amazing in motion, if only i had my track!!!

I mentioned elsewhere that my son has been home from school the past couple of days due to a chronic sinus and tonsil infection. After our trip to the doctor yesterday, I gave him the new Trackmaster Lexi and Harvey to cheer him up. This morning, he felt a little better so we repaired and rebuilt the track I had built this past weekend.

The return loop at the western end of the layout.

The four track yard just past the return loop. This was recycled with some alterations from the big loop I had in my living room last week.

Yep, I’ve got a few more!

A couple angles of the dining room subdivision:
