25th Anniversary Set

Mine was $49.50 with free shipping. It was marked shipped in Oct. 2 and arrived today. The estimated time for arrival was 2-8 weeks so I was surprised to see it today. It was not marked SAL or EMS but only AirMail. I am happy with the purchase and eBay expierence. I pre-ordered this one back at the end of Aug.

That sounds like it may have been Air Mail International. There really isn't a right place or wrong place to buy from but if I remember the discussions from before there was talk that Hobby Search was too expensive on their shipping where I always thought it to be negligible. Myself, I don't think $6 more for EMS is that much but then I am a spoiled brat and can't wait for my packages. I am curious what the Air Mail cost for the same thing would be from Hobby Search, or what the cost of EMS mail would be from the Ebay Sellers....maybe the same. Look forward to hearing from others who have purchased this just to compare.

Our total was $50.10 from an eBay preorder, but it didn't arrive today, and with Monday being a holiday, won't possibly arrive for a couple days moreSad

Muddy's review and comparison will likely be much better but here is a quick side by side. Hard to see much as they are both still in the packing, but the other is the 65 Anniversary edition.

Looks like the faces are different as well as the new one seems to have almost a grey tint to the deck, but I may just be seeing things..Cool

They appear to have he same shell and chassis, both have he 1992 and 2002 marks on them.

Ok, Time to Relive this thread, Differences:
Thicker Eyebrows which seem to replicate the Season 7-12 face, the 65th one replicates the Season 1 Face
ever so slightly grayer RB (the recent one is gray, which I don't like Sad , oh well)
mouth teeth are more thicker
irises are thinner
Paint and print-wise
65th uses a slightly more green-blue
1 is more thinner on 2017 one, they started making the thinner 1 in 2016/2015
