A New Pre-Order appeared on the Hobby Search Web page today. Looks to be a remake of the Red Thunder EF510 with updated AA chassis. This special Tanker Car doesn't seem to have the nice detail stickers the original release had. This version of the Red Thunder looks very nice especially without those bulky side clips for the original C size battery release.

Hmmm.... I like it although I'm trying unsuccessfully to stick with steam power.
I like the design of the ef110 and looks relatively more detailed than the original. I see what you mean by how un detailed the tanker is to the original tanker .
A few stickers or decals would update the tanker to make it look better, easily done
Happily collecting things all my life...

That would be the old C size battery version.
The large battery did help with the engine's traction, even without tires it could haul a couple cars.
